Would like to know your life purpose, figure out what you want to do in your life and be your complete and true self? This article will help you to understand the importance of living a life in alignment with your life purpose(s), and how this will help you effortlessly attract the very beautiful emotions you want to experience in your life.
One philosophical premise in life that is of chief importance to me is that every human on earth has a Life Purpose. In most cases, it does not have to be a single life purpose. Based on my experience and teachings from experts in the life purpose press, I’ve come to believe it could be a series of different life purposes.
So, the belief goes like this, if you are in alignment with your life purpose(s) then the very things you want to achieve in life will start becoming easy for you. When I say easy I mean very easy, but that doesn’t mean you’ve got to sit down and wait for things to happen. No! You’ve got to combine action with life purpose(s) to attract these things.
There is no complex answer to this question. The answer is your purpose to be your complete and true self. The feeling that nothing is missing in your life and the experience of living a passion filled life means you're in alignment with your life purpose. This comes with the feeling to happily express yourself and your talent into the world and providing value, contributing and thankfully serving with those talents.
As revealed earlier, it is important for you to note that there is no single life purpose. The expression of your talents/gifts, when put into action and presented to the world, could take different shapes and forms. In other words, you can manifest your life purpose(s) in so many different activities. That is, you can be involved in a number of actions as long as you are passionate or happy about doing them. It always better for you to expand your definition of life purpose, rather than only thinking career.
The purpose of your life is to be happy. I believe when you’re in alignment with your life purpose, even in time of difficulties or when failure is evident your mind will simply focus on the lesson learnt and how to move yourself up and grow. This will happen almost effortless because you’re happy and somehow connected with what you’re doing.
It’s like playing your favourite sport or simply put, engaging in a hobby related activity. Your mind is always focused on the lovely experience and passion you going to get from that particular hobby related activity. With this mentality, you no longer see the hurdles in life as setbacks but as a way to realign your life purpose and enjoy the beautiful emotions and experiences that stem with doing what you love. It's like sailing your boat in the direction of the wind, knowing that the universe has your back.
On the other hand, most people choose to ignore their life purpose(s) and instead they listen to the voice of society and follow the dreams that society wants for them. They prefer to follow traditional paths, answer to traditional beliefs and live their life the way generation long before them did.
This usually leads to situations they’re completely unhappy with. For instance, studying for a course they don’t like, pursue a career that leaves them completely unhappy or even married a partner they don’t like and end up being in an unhappy relationship…..the list could go on forever. So how do you make such situations right or even better follow your life purpose? Well, the answer is to simply recognise your life purpose and then have the courage to pursue it in the face of what society tells you.
In general, to live a purposeful life means to live a life of meaning, purpose and fulfilment. The fundamental principle here is for you to be focused and mindful of what excites you because a purposeful life is a joyful life. Remember, the secret is to be connected to what motivates and excites you because that’s the voice of your inner self.
So in every moment of your life, focus on doing what excites you and what fire the imagination of your inner self. Try to enjoy these moments and perform to the best of your abilities with zero expectations. Because the sooner you start doing what motivates and excites you, you will effortless wants to do it to the best of your abilities without holding back. Why? Because you simply enjoy doing it, its feels like a hobby and it’s important for you not to attach any expectations from doing it. Simply allow the moment to reveal whatever it has for you.
The reason it’s important to do what excites you without attaching any expectation is for you to simply take action and follow your inner self. As it is very easy for the mind to question our decisions and most often stopped us from acting. For example, let say you’re stuck in a 9 to 5 job that you’re not happy about and really wants to quit and start up your own business or engage in something that excites you. The mind as always will raise questions like, how is that going to pay the bills, what if the business fail, how am I going to…… these questions are important but for you to act, simply embrace the passion and excitement that comes with doing what you love.
I am not saying you should go and quit your day job just like that, but if you really want to live a life of meaning, purpose, and fulfilment you must embrace what excites you. You can still have your day job and try to allocate time for creating value on what excites you until you can make a living out of it. At the beginning it's going to look like a side project, once you're confidently its going well, you can easily take it to the next level. But at first, you must focus on providing value to as many people as possible, within an area that excites you.
Books like "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, and “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Wattles clearly advice and suggested for people to do what excites them and focus on creating wealth by providing value to society. But this also goes with a warning, "Take baby steps." Wallace D. Wattles in his book “The Science of Getting Rich” says, you don't have to know the pathway, nor the business plan, or the route to how you're going to get there. But take baby steps and give more value in service than the cash value you receive.
The benefits of taking one step at a time are that if for any reason those baby steps are in the wrong direction, something will happen to pull you back and then you will realign your purpose and refocus your strategy. If it's in the wrong direction, again, it pulls you back, it keeps pulling you back for every wrong step you take. The key is you’ve got to take baby steps because that shows purpose, intention and will. It demonstrates that you're serious and it calls upon the universe to help you. Would you agree? Remember, Thomas A. Edison’s says" I am not discouraged because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward”.
